Meerut College, founded in 1892, is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. Meerut College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses across different streams such as Science, Commerce, Law, Arts, and Education.

The undergraduate courses in Arts and Science are of 3 years in terms of duration whereas the Program in Education at graduation level is one year long. The post-graduation programs are of 2 years.

Meerut College also provides professional courses to interested applicants through which they can hone their skills and excel in the choice of their field. These courses are Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Computer Science as well as Home Science. There is also a Bachelor’s degree course offered by the college in Biotechnology

For those candidates willing to pursue higher education from the Meerut College, he/she must complete the registration procedure on Chaudhary Charan Singh University website and the College website. He/she must duly fill in the registration and application form correctly.

The Meerut College offers under graduate programs to students who have completed their senior secondary school with an average minimum of 50% marks each in theory and practical examination.

If a candidate has more than two years of gap after graduation, he/she is not eligible to apply.

Meerut College Application Process 2023

For filling out the application form, candidate must visit the university website and register himself/herself.

Steps to apply:

He/she must click on the Pre-Registration page weblink and duly fill in his/her senior secondary school board, passing year and roll number.
If the details provided by the candidate are correct, he/she will be redirected to their respective application form.
Once the form is completed and submitted, he/she will receive login ID and password on his/her registered mobile number as well as email ID. These credentials must be retained for future use.
After logging in to the page, using the login ID and password, he/she will see a ‘Dashboard ‘on the top right side of the page. The applicant must fill in the necessary details step by step with extreme caution and cross-check the detail before the final submission of the application form.
During this step, he/she must upload the scanned copies of required documents along with his/her passport photograph and signature.
He/she must pay the application fee via Debit card, Credit card, Net banking or Cash Wallet. There is no option for paying the application fee offline.
If the fee payment fails, he/she must retry after a gap of four hours. He/she will be redirected to the ‘Submit’ option only after successful payment.
It is mandatory for the candidate to have the necessary documents (high school and senior secondary school certificates) along with a recent passport size photograph and signature for uploading to the space allocated in the application form.

If a candidate wishes to seek out admission to a reserved seat, he/she must produce the respective caste certificate issued by a competent authority.

If a candidate has completed senior secondary school from U.P. Board, he/she does not have to produce the Domicile Certificate, however, if the applicant has completed senior secondary school from a different board, it is mandatory to produce the Domicile Certificate, failing which, the candidate will be debarred from the admission process.

Candidate must fill in the application form very carefully. The college does not entertain any requests for correction in the application form.
