Awadhoot Bhagwan Ram Post Graduate College was established in 1990 by Saint Awadhoot Singh Shawak Ram Ji in the name of his Guru Awadhoot Bhagwan Ram Ji. Started with 116 students, today the College provides higher education to over 2200 students of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. The college runs 19 undergraduate and 6 post graduate programmes. The college has introduced more job-oriented programmes like the faculty of B.C.A., B.B.A., B.F.A. and B.Ed.

ABRPGC is situated in Anpara, Sonebhadra district. The college is affiliated to Mahatama Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth - Varanasi. It is one of the pioneering co-ed institutions of the district. The college has changed their courses as per the demand of the society and market so that the students can prepare themselves for the job.

The campus of the college which spreads over 1152230 sq mt. is surrounded by greeneries. There are buildings, huge sports ground, biological gardens etc which fills life in the campus.
