Manbhum Maha Vidyalaya was started with a vision to extend the academic knowledge, expand the scope of higher education and all round personality development of its students specifically amongst the backward sections of the district. The college’s establishment was primarily a result of the hard work and responsibility undertaken by the social workers with inspiring ideas. The college aspires to build a platform for cultivating a strong community feeling amongst the students of different communities that results in a bond of love and respect. The mission of Manbhum Mahavidyalaya is to assist students in the pursuit of knowledge and develop their personal values by encouraging them to get actively involved in academic and extracurricular activities.

• Student's Health Home Facility: The students can avail the facilities of Students' Health Home by paying a nominal fee. This facility provides medical treatment to the students at a very nominal price. In an emergency situation, students are sent to the Central Students' Health Home in Kolkata.
• Remedial and tutorial classes for students: Remedial classes are   organized for students who are weak in their studies. The schedule for the classes is planned after consulting all the head of the departments and eminent faculty members.
