Students applying for B.A. (Gen) can choose three subjects, form the list of the following subjects:

History	Philosophy	Arabic	Sanskrit	Education
English	Political Science	Bengali	Geography	Physical Education

Students cannot choose Education and Physical education together. Also, students choosing Arabic cannot choose Sanskrit.

Students should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognized board to apply for the course. For more information about the eligibility criteria and other details regarding admission.
Students applying for Geography should note that candidates who have studied Geography in their Higher Secondary level will be given preference.

Students are selected based on merit.
Students applying for Physical Education should note that candidates who have participated in district or state level sports will be given preference.
