Government Autonomous Post Graduate College comes under higher education department of M.P. government in district Chhindwara. It is established in the year 1961 and located in Chhindwara city. It is affiliated to Dr. Harisingh Gour University and approved by University Grant Commission granted (UGC), accrediated by the NAAC B+ grade. It offers graduate and postgraduate courses in arts, science, commerce, & Computer Applications streams. The college has all necessary facilities like Net resources Centre, Virtual Classroom, Smart Classes, Reading room, Canteen, Girls Hostel and medical facility etc.

The mission of college is to groom the leadership qualities in the students, produce socially sensitive citizens, contribute nation building and promote the use of new technologies in teaching, learning and research. The faculty is well qualified and experience in their field of education.
