Established in 1960, Deogiri College is situated in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The college is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University, Aurangabad. The college offers several UG and PG courses in various fields of Science, Commerce and Arts viz. B.Sc., B.Com, BA, BBA, BCA, M.Sc. M.Com and MA. Deogiri College also offers career oriented B.Voc courses in Jewellery Design & Gemology and Multimedia & Animation.

The college conducts both online and offline mode of application process.
For B.Sc. IT/ Computer Science, B.Voc in Multimedia & Animation and BCA Science, candidates must have passed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 50% marks.
However, for BCS, candidates need to have a score of 60% or more in 10+2.
For admission in BA, B.Sc. (General), BBA, BCA, B.Sc. Bioinformatics and B.Sc. Biotechnology, candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 in relevant subjects.
Admission in B.Com requires candidates to have 70% or above in 10+2 in Commerce stream.
Selection of candidate is based on the merit in the qualifying examination given they have passed 10+2 in first attempt.
The candidates are first shortlisted on the basis of the merit of qualifying exam, followed by the score of Common Entrance Test.
For admission in M.Sc., the candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Science with minimum 50% marks.
Admission in MA and M.Com requires candidates to have obtained a graduate degree in relevant subjects from any recognised University/ Institution.
Selection of the candidates in these PG courses is purely on the basis of merit.

Deogiri College offers 2 Vocational courses under UG Programs viz. Jewellery Design & Gemology and Multimedia & Animation. Candidates applying for these courses must have passed 10+2 in relevant subjects from any recognised Board.Students are short-listed on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the affiliated university.

Remarks:

No, there is no entrance for admission to my course. I get direct admission for my course. There is only a fee of Rs.2500 and I am eligible for this course but there are two ways. I got 85% in my 12th so I got admission to Grant. And I am not from any category so I don't avail any reservations as the admission process is very convenient and online. That's why there is no improvement needed according to me.

Colleges give merit admission basis on 12th marks and also give direct admission to selected courses there has an online and offline method to apply for the college and so easy to get admission in it so simple and easy, and there are no reservations for any category.

"PROUD TO BE DEOGIRIAN"

Remarks:

Eligibility was based on HSC marks. Students having more than 60% in PCB or PCBM can eligible for this course. There was no entrance exam. Reservation for specific castes is available. The improvement needed is having more instruments to handle acquiring more skills.

The admission process after the 12th result criteria of degree courses like BBA BCS and BCA are on a 12th percentage basis minimum 75%+ students allocated to the college and institute their no need for any entrance exam.
