Bholanath College, Dhubri, is one of the premier Institutions of Higher Learning in Western Assam. It was with the initiative of LATE ZAHIRUL HOQUE, the then district magistrate (Deputy Commissioner) of the erstwhile Goalpara District accompanied by the pioneering and untiring efforts of some dedicated and learned personalities of Dhubri, specially of Lt. R.K.Bose backed by the financial assistance of ZAMINDER FAMILY of the Lakhipur estate that the college came to be formally inaugurated on the 16th August, 1946
- The college is accredited by NAAC with ‘B’ grade in 2004
- The college is located at a distance of three kilometers from the historic shrine of Netai Dhubani Ghat, Gurdwara and Panchpeer Dargah providing a healthy and congenial atmosphere of teaching and learning
Infrastructure:
The college is situated on a sprawling campus of 18 acres (73,000 m2) of land in the College Nagar and thus it has adequate sports infrastructure, extensive lawns, an administrative block, a central library, a hostel complex, a pond, a canteen, a health center along with well equipped science labs and computer facilities in one campus.
