Aizawl Theological College was established in the year 1907 by Rev. D.E. Jones. It is an ecumenical seminary of the Presbyterian Church in Aizawl, Mizoram. The college is affiliated to the Senate of Serampore College (University)
- The college offers Bachelor, Master and Doctorate Degree Programmes in Theology and Christian Studies
- In 1994 the college the introduced the B.D. programme.
- In 2003, the college started Bachelor of Theology
- The Master of Theology (M.Th) programme in Christian Theology was introduced from 2002, in New Testament and Missiology from 2007, in History of Christianity from 2009, in Old Testament and Religions from 2011-2012
- The College is owned by the Mizoram Presbyterian Church Synod and administered through its Theological Education Board
- The college in located at north of Aizawl, the state capital of Mizoram, well connectedby road and air. Aizawl is connected by air-flights to Kolkata, Guwahati and Imphal
- The college aims at imparting its lay theological education programme and other ministries and to train people to become theologically mature and to be committed to Christian discipleship in the world
