Brock University Undergraduate Admissions

The university offers more than 70 undergraduate programs across seven departments. Most of the programs are offered with a duration of 4 years that includes both classroom and experiential learning.

Admission Requirement:

Requirements for SOP and LOR

• Statement of Purpose - All students must submit a statement of purpose. SOPs should include the following:
  • Introduction
  • Why Griffith University?
  • Why this program?
  • What are your career goals?
  • Your achievement and experience?
  • Skills and knowledge.
• Letter of recommendation- Letter of recommendation from your teachers and professors. LORs must include:
  • Relationship with the applicant.
  • Performance of the applicant.
  • Accomplishments of the applicant.
  • Nature of association with the applicant.

Graduate Admission at Brock University

About 50 graduate programs are offered across 6 faculties of Brock University. The university offers more than 100+ programs for International Students from more than 100+ countries across its 2 campuses. Some very well-known programs where students take the most admissions are biophysics, Accounting, Business Administration, Chemistry, Canadian Studies.

Basic Admission Requirements:

• Certified copy of academic transcripts.
• A minimum grade of B-(some programs may require higher grades)
• English proficiency skills results.
• Letter of recommendation.
• Statement of Purpose
• Students may also be asked to submit their Curriculum vitae (CV) for a few courses.
• If a student has given any standardized test, they may also submit the results of the same. For some programs, students are required to give certain standardized exams, in such a case students are advised to refer to the university's website.
• Passport size photographs need to be submitted.
• Certified copy of standardized test scores.

MBA Admission Requirements 

The MBA program at Brock University is offered full-time with a duration of 1 to 2 years. The program has two intakes throughout the year i.e September or January. Students willing to apply for part-time MBA can apply for April intake.

Visa for Brock University

Getting a hold of a Canadian student visa is a must for any international student who aims to study at the University. Students have to get a hold of a visa from the High Commission of Canada in India. Students may refer to the following. There are certain documents that students must be prepared beforehand with:

Application Evaluation Process of Brock University

An application to graduate school at Brock University is a multi-step process.

• Once you complete and submit your online application, you will be prompted to pay the non-refundable application fee. You must pay the fee for each program to which you are applying. Application fees vary by program.
  • 110 CAD – MA, MBE, MSC, MS or PhD
  • 140 CAD – MADS, GD ADS, MBA, MAcc, MEd, MPH, MPH/MBA, MAG, or MPK programs.
• The fee is payable to the Ontario University Application Centre and can be paid by VISA or Mastercard.
• Once you have submitted and paid your application fees, one to two business days will be required by Brock to receive your application from the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC).
• Within one week of submitting your application through OUAC, you will be contacted by email with your Brock Campus ID (2 letters, 2 numbers, 2 letters) and instructions on how to log in to the Brock portal to upload the remaining required documents for your application to be considered.
• Monitor your application and document status on the Brock portal using your campus ID. The Brock portal is your most up-to-date source of information. Offer letters to admitted students will be posted to their Brock Portal account.
• Admissions decisions will only be posted to the portal. Admission decisions are typically made 6 – 8 weeks after the application deadline.

The registration process for both graduate and undergraduate students ends on July 31. After the completion of the admission process students are recommended to track their application in between on the university’s official website.
