Master of Arts in English at the University of Saskatchewan is offered as a 2-year teaching program.
This course is offered on a full-time (2-year) and part-time (4-years) basis.
The M.A. program offers a thesis-based and project-based option, requiring students to do course work, fulfill a language requirement, and complete and be examined on a thesis or a project.
This program has a co-op work option. In order to be eligible to participate in a full-time Co-op Work Term, students must meet the GPA requirements.
The student to faculty ratio is 19:1 which bridges the gap between faculty and students.

The Department of English provides graduate training in literary studies towards M.A. and Ph.D. degrees.

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants must have a 3-year undergraduate degree.
The cumulative weighted average of at least 70% in the last two years of study (i.e. 60 credit units)
Students will be required to upload unofficial PDF copies of academic transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended.

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 3-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Completed a master degree with first class in a relevant field

Required Documents are:

Three academic or professional references: Three Letters of recommendation (completed via an online application process, no need to send to CGPS from the issuing institution)
CV/Resume: A resume/CV should be a one or two-page concise summary of skills, experience, and education.
Offer Letter: Students must submit have an offer letter.
Test Results: Provide proof of English proficiency, if English is not the first language in student country, as proof of IELTS/TOEFL result scores is to be submitted.
