In the M.Sc. program, graduate students complete coursework and a project. All graduate programs are conducted under the supervision of a faculty member.
Faculty members pursue research in six broad areas of mechanical engineering:
advanced engineering design and manufacturing
applied mechanics and machine design
bioengineering
control systems, robotics, and fluid power
fluid dynamics, thermal sciences, and energy
materials science and metallurgy
The program has research programs range from fundamental investigations intended to advance theoretical understanding to practical studies intended to solve current industrial and environmental problems. A significant number of research projects involve industrial partners who provide funding, expertise, and access to special research facilities.

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants must have a four-year undergraduate degree in a field relevant to Mechanical Engineering.
The cumulative weighted average of at least 70% in the last two years of study (i.e. 60 credit units).
Students must have a GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.
Students must submit proof of English proficiency in IELTS or TOEFL may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
Students need to submit the result of the GRE score, the minimum score should be 309 out of 340.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Required Documents are:

Three academic or professional references: Three Letters of recommendation (completed via an online application process, no need to send to CGPS from the issuing institution)
CV/Resume: A resume/CV should be a one or two-page concise summary of skills, experience, and education.
Offer Letter: Students must submit have an offer letter.
Test Results: Provide proof of English proficiency, if English is not the first language in student country, as proof of IELTS/TOEFL result scores is to be submitted.
