- University of New Brunswick (Fredericton) offers a Certificate in Business Administration - Level I for a duration of 1-year.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- The Certificate in Business Administration Level I program is designed to help working adults gain the business skills and knowledge to help them advance in their careers.
- A certificate may be awarded to a student enrolled in a UNB degree program other than the BBA degree.
- Students have to successfully complete 36 credit hours (with a C or better) as follows:
- Business Planning and Entrepreneurship (3 credit hours)
- Financial Accounting (3)
- Principles of Marketing (3)
- Organizational Behaviour (3)
- Principles of Finance (3)
- Business Statistics (3)
- Ethical Issues in Business (3)
- Principles of Microeconomics (3)
- Principles of Macroeconomics (3)
- This program will be awarded to students who achieve a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0.
- Students also need three credit hours of electives from any faculty as well as six credit hours of social sciences chosen from the following:

- The courses in the certificate programs are degree-credit courses, so if students later apply to and are accepted into the BBA program.
