- The study of language and literature will lead to a better understanding of the world. Students Will explore the properties and power of language through courses in the three genres of poetry, drama and prose from the British, American and Canadian traditions.
- Students may also develop their skills in creative writing, select from special topics such as tragedy, comedy and myth, or delve into the life and works of a major author. As an Education major a student develops a strong knowledge base in the subject area they intend to teach.
