About this course:
- The program offers training focused on different fields of study in physical activity and sports. It also offers candidates the opportunity to obtain additional certifications, including those from the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Exercise Physiologist) and the National Coaching Certification Program - NCCP. (coach).
- Kinesiology students will familiarize themselves with the basic concepts relating to the structure and functioning of the human body in motion, with the foundations of physical activity, as well as with the socio-cultural frameworks in which the profession is practiced.
- Throughout their training, students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary for assessing physical condition, prescribing physical activities and planning physical activity programs for a variety of populations.
- The program also studies research methods applied to physical activity and offers practical internships in private, public or institutional settings.
