University of Moncton is a French-speaking public University founded in 1963. It has 3 campuses including Edmundston, Shippagan and Moncton located in New Brunswick. University of Moncton Campus
- The University has three campuses in total which are located at Edmundston, Moncton, and Shippagan.
- The Edmundston campus of the University of Moncton is located in Boulevard Hebert, Edmundston, Canada.
- The campus includes a library, auditorium, a seminar hall, dining area, residence facility, etc.
- The Madawaska Historical Museum and the Colline Gallery is a part of the campus which holds various activities, exhibitions, artistic works, etc. However, currently, it has been transformed into a temporary classroom due to COVID-19.
- The campus also includes a health and wellness centre called the Louis-J-Robichaud including a swimming pool, a gym, track and field, among many others.
- Students must note that the first 2 years of the program can be completed in any campus while the following years must be completed at the main campus.

University of Moncton Scholarships/Financial Aid
- The University of Moncton offers merit-based scholarships to international students.
- If the student has maintained an average of 80% and enrols in an undergraduate program, they will automatically receive an academic merit scholarship ranging from 4,000-5,000 CAD renewable throughout their baccalaureate.
- With a higher average, the scholarship can reach 12,000-15,000 USD on a pro-rata basis.
- Similar scholarship is awarded to graduate students wherein the amount awarded is 10,000 CAD.
- Students may also be automatically considered for bursaries upon admission to specific programs ranging from 1,000-2,000 CAD.
Details of some financial aid available to undergraduate international students are as follows:
- Welcome Bursary – International Students:
- Available to international students registering for the first time in an undergraduate program at the Edmundston campus of the University of Moncton. To benefit from this scholarship, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits per semester.
- The value of the scholarship can reach 2,000 CAD. This scholarship based on the academic average of the first semester is granted according to the following scale: 0 to .99 = 500 CAD; 1 to 1.49 = 1,000 CAD; 1.5 to 1.99 = 1,500 CAD; and 2 or higher = 2,000 CAD.
- Host Scholarships – Women in Engineering:
- Subject to budget approval, this scholarship is available to all new female registrants in the Bachelor of Engineering programs at one of the three campuses of the University of Moncton.
- Value of the scholarship is 2,000 CAD. It is a non-renewable scholarship.
