• In the Fine Arts program, the student will develop a broad skill set that will help the student succeed in a wide variety of careers. Whether the students plan to begin professional practice, work as a curator in an art gallery or go on to further their education in a professional program or graduate school, they will be well prepared.
  • Nipissing’s introductory courses are designed to give students a range of experiences and breadth of knowledge in studio-based practices and art history. First-year students are encouraged to take additional discipline-specific courses at the second year level in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, and video and time-based media in their first year of study.
