- In this program, students study the interactions between the living and non-living organisms within our boreal ecosystems at all levels, including organism, population, community, ecosystem, and global systems. They Understand the impacts of disturbance, restoration, and species sustainability and conservation on stressed systems.
- The program exposes the students to current advances in theory and methodologies in a broad range of disciplines. The students develop critical thinking and analytical and communication skills through individual in-depth study, mentorship with faculty and peers, as well as participation in seminars, conferences, workshops, and the peer-review processes of publication.
