The Department of Chemistry at Lakehead University offers a graduate program leading to a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree, offering many of the subdisciplinary areas of Chemistry such as, analytical, biochemical, inorganic, organic, and physical. The specific research interests of the full-time and adjunct faculty members include: electrochemistry and surface analysis, material science, pulp and paper research, organometallic chemistry and catalysis, organic synthesis, aqueous silicon chemistry, photochemistry, and environmental and medicinal chemistry.
