To apply for residence at the University of Waterloo, both fresher's and continuing graduates are required to send in their applications to University of Waterloo common residence

- For logging in, you will need to enable your JOIN Id
- Enter the following information for enabling the ID:

Village 1 of University of Waterloo is a traditional dormitory-style residence offering Single, Double and Interconnecting rooms. Houses are co-ed, but floors and bathrooms are for single gender.
Availability- Rooms are offered to both first-years and upper year students. There are 4 quads separated into 26 houses and each house has 4 floors with 16 students in each floor. There is 1 don living for each house at Village 1.
