The M.Sc. program in Chemistry at Waterloo offers exposure to world-class research on many subjects including the core areas of analytical, biochemistry, inorganic, materials, nanotechnology, organic, physical, polymer, and theoretical chemistry.
With more than 150 graduate students and 39 faculty members, graduate studies in Chemistry at the University of Waterloo is one of the largest in Canada.
Research in chemistry encompasses a broad range of topics relevant to life and environmental sciences, to the development of new materials and nanotechnology, but also to improving the fundamental understanding of the world surrounding us.

Academic Eligibility:

An Honours Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Science with a minimum overall standing of 75% in the last 2 years (domestic students only).
An interview and diagnostic test may be required.
Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
The GRE exam score is not required but if given will be encouraged.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
CAEL - Canadian Academic English Language.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Should have completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Should have completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
