As a teacher, the passion for people both young and old helps them fulfill their potential. When they study Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), their mastery of teaching the English language gives their students the skills needed to compete in the global marketplace.
With a curriculum that straddles theory and practice, students will have the opportunity to observe experienced teachers and instruct students as student teachers. Students will also:
- Study the major features of English language sounds
- Compare the grammatical structures of other major languages to English and learn to identify typical mistakes made by non-native speakers
- Learn teaching techniques aimed at children, adolescents, and adults

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Candidate should submit their higher School Certificate or Intermediate Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate or Senior School Certificate or Pre-University Certificate and should have a minimum of 3 GPA.
Candidate needs to have an overall average in the range of C+ to B+ grade.
English-language proficiency is needed for admission to Concordia University.
