Carleton University Accommodation: Housing Eligibility
At Carleton University, Canada, all college students are welcome to apply.
- Preference is given to college students who are enrolled in and achieve 3 full credits in the present year (and for 2023 – 2024).
- Applicants not meeting the requirement can be given an opportunity to apply any decision to revoke their offer/application. Students who receive their offer are required to pay a deposit of 700 CAD (42,500 INR).
- If upon the release of total marks in May, a student is unsuccessful in meeting the necessities or if unsuccessful in their appeal, the offer can be revoked and the deposit returned, minus a 25 CAD (1,518 INR) processing charge.
Please notice that any outstanding Housing associated costs should be paid in complete prior to May 1, or the offer can be rescinded and the deposit refunded, minus a 25 CAD (1,518 INR) service charge.
Carleton University Accommodation: Application Process
The online application process for Carleton University accommodations during the 2023-2024 academic year will begin at 10:00 am ET on February 1, 2023. The applications will remain open until June 8, 2023, at 4:30 pm ET. If someone misses the deadline, they can still apply to a waitlist, which will be accessible again after June 15.

- Step 2: Go to Main Menu - Housing Services - Apply to Residence
- Step 3: Pay the 35 CAD (2,125 INR) non-refundable application charge
