• The Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics is a 4-year program with Honours at Carleton University.
  • Students will have the opportunity to apply to the Co-operative Education Program.
  • Students will be well prepared for direct entry into various careers within the life sciences field. 
  • Students will take courses in several areas including:
    • Bioinformatics
    • Biology
    • Biochemistry and computer science.
  • Students will graduate with both a defined area of expertise and valuable experience.
  • All Honours students have the opportunity to develop research projects, working alongside a faculty advisor.
  • Some work as research technologists in a wide range of government and industrial research laboratories.
  • If students choose the Honours program, they will complete an Honours thesis project.
  • The student to faculty ratio is 9:1 which bridges the gap between faculty and students.
