Campus, Residence, Programs

  • The campus is spread over 322 acres and is the largest campuses of the California State University system.

  • Students are encouraged to apply for university housing. To avail of housing facilities or make an exemption, admitted students need to set up a MyCSULB account and complete the online application.
  • The deadline for submitting the form is 1st May and pay a non-refundable license service fee of 275 USD. Housing priority is based on the date and time the license service fee is paid.
  • CSULB College of Business offers Bachelor of Business Administration, minors in Business Administration, Masters of Business Administration, Masters of Science across various academic studies that include accounting, finance, human resource management, international business, entrepreneurship and supply chain management to name a few.

Application Deadline: For Fall 2020 admissions, the deadline for domestic applicants is June 1, 2020, and March 1, 2020 for international applicants.

Admission Requirements:

  • Students from non-English speaking countries should submit their scores of TOEFL/IELTS/PTE/Eiken/ALI as proof to their English Language Proficiency.
  • Official Transcripts from Schools/Universities attended
  • SAT/ACT Score is required.
  • For Graduate Studies, students should submit scores of GMAT/GRE, Statement of Purpose and Letters of Recommendation.

Cost and Expenses

  • Community Scholarships

The Rotary Club of Long Beach offers several scholarships for Long Beach residents who plan to attend LBCC or CSULB. The scholarship is awarded to legal residents of U.S who are recipients of a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher and maintain a minimum of 12 units each semester.

  • President’s Scholars Program

President’s Scholarship awardees are selected from a competitive high-achieving pool of students admitted to the University Honors Program (UHP). The recipients of this scholarship receive financial support, individualized academic advising and opportunity to participate in the honors house.
