The Beacom School of Business was established in 1927 and has been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)-International since 1949, a distinction held by only 5% of business schools worldwide. Beacom is the lead business college in South Dakota and the area with its programs reliably getting high national rankings from establishments, for example, U.S. News and World Report.
