Successful completion of this course of study, which leads to the Bachelor of Music Education degree, in the context of other program requirements, qualifies the student for recommendation for the Michigan Department of Education Secondary Provisional Certificate endorsed in music education (K-12), certification code JQ.

All prospective students (including transfers) must apply to the School of Music and Dance and complete an entrance audition.
