The major at Assumption College requires that students take 8 business courses, 6 specific liberal arts courses, and 4 elective business courses as part of the management curriculum. The curriculum seeks to develop and sharpen knowledge, skills and abilities in principal management activities (planning, organizing, leading and controlling), communication, quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, analytical and strategic thinking, strategy development and implementation, interpersonal relations, group decision-making and leadership.
