WSU's Music Business program will prepare students for a career in many fields of the ever-expanding music industry. Students may use this degree program to prepare for entry into professions in business or industry serving or related to the field of music.
Music courses include a core music curriculum, with studio lessons, ensemble and an individualized independent study and internship. Other coursework includes the areas of music business, arts administration, accounting, economics, finance and marketing. Students may use this degree program to prepare for entry into professions in business or industry serving or related to the field of music.
The mission of the Winona State University Department of Music is to direct and encourage the musical education of students and to enrich the cultural life of the community at large through musical experiences. The Winona State University Department of Music is committed to:
