This major provides students with a solid business core that includes an extensive background in the functional areas of marketing, finance, accounting, and management; an understanding of the business environment to include the legal, economic, behavioral, human resource, ethical, and international aspects; technical skills in information systems and quantitative analysis; and the ability to communicate, integrate and synthesize.
Students completing the Banking and Finance Concentration will develop a solid understanding of:

- Risk Management
- Money and Banking
- International Business and Finance
Students are encouraged to take the Series 6 and 63 securities license exams.
