This major provides a unique opportunity for all pre-veterinary medicine students, including those interested in other species, to work with horses at our Austin E. Knowlton Center for Equine Science, producing horse-experienced veterinary students. In addition to fulfilling the specific requirements for entry into a graduate or veterinary program, students study the horse in depth, one body system at a time, learning about the normal anatomy and physiology, diseases and disorders, current diagnostic modalities, treatments, prognosis and prevention.?

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

Submit official transcripts for four years of high school/secondary school
Transcripts must be sealed and stamped by the school and test scores should be sent directly from high school/testing agency
Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency like WES, ECE, SpanTran
Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
Students can also submit three letters of recommendations which is optional
Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; 550 in PBT
IELTS: minimum 6.5
PTE: minimum 53
Duolingo: minimum 105
