As an Art major, in addition to the studio experience, you will explore art history and theory and take courses in humanities and other areas. The study of art encompasses a variety of media to express human thoughts, interests, attitudes, emotions, and ideas. This degree prepares a student to plan, organize, manage, and analyze. The use of fact, logic, and persuasion, the ability to prioritize data and arrive at alternative possibilities, are part of the BA curriculum at Monmouth University. Specific skills developed by artists depend to some degree on their creative interests. However, many of the skills learned are transferable to a variety of sectors and jobs.?
