The Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences (EAPS) Department has a low faculty-to-student ratio, which allows students to have a lot of one-on-one interaction with their professors. All undergraduates are encouraged to take part in research.

Careers in Atmospheric Science/Meteorology

Graduates often work in broadcast meteorology, operational meteorology, climatology, and satellite meteorology. They work as scientists, researchers, engineers, educators, environmental regulators, and often with the government. In addition, many students go to graduate school for advanced study.
