Students learn to visually communicate effectively, while developing personal aesthetic and design values; to develop a visual language utilizing typography, traditional and digital imagery; and to create communications in various media formats such as books, posters, packages, exhibitions, interactive multimedia, motion and sequential film, and web-delivered content.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program in Graphic Design may seek employment on the creative staffs of advertising agencies, design studios, publishing houses or corporate communications departments in entry-level positions such as graphic designer, production artist for a design staff, or as a junior art director.
