About this course:

The MA in Economics is a 30-credit program designed to ensure that University graduates make an impact by:

  • Developing their ability to use economic theory to explain outcomes
  • Make informed predictions
  • Analyze data to rigorously answer questions.

A 15-credit hour core provides a solid foundation in economic theory and econometrics to students in all tracks.

  • The five distinct tracks allow students to tailor their remaining coursework to their specific goals.
  • Most graduate level courses are offered in the evening, and the master's degree can be completed in either full-time or part-time status.
