The Master’s in Art History program features:

  • Two tracks: Preparation for PhD programs and curatorial museum positions with a capstone project, or preparation for other museum career paths with a digital museum studies project.
  • A focus on four areas: Renaissance and Baroque, Modern European, American to 1970, and Global Contemporary Art with an emphasis on East Asia.
  • Cultural studies, social history, feminist and gender studies, nationalism, globalization, and post-colonialization.
  • Access to internships at Washington, DC’s wealth of museums.
