Master of Science in Information Technology is a 2-year program offered by Valparaiso University.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
Students have to successfully complete 37 credits for this program.
The 37-credit MSc in Information Technology program is intended to prepare students who may have little undergraduate experience in CS or IT for successful careers in the field in both the US and abroad.
The program has a rigorous core curriculum in which students have the option of pursuing one of two tracks of study, management or computing.
Students are required to take coursework in the IT Core and in management areas, as well as their concentration.
The final semester is reserved for the capstone course.
Along with the core requirements, students interested in the IT-management competency area or IT-computing must complete elective coursework.

A 3.0 GPA (B average) in all undergraduate and/or graduate coursework is required.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Students need to have a minimum of first-class or upper Second with a minimum of 60% on an institutional basis.

Reflective Essay – Students have to submit the document giving a reason of interest in studying in the United States, Why they are applying to Valparaiso University, their interest in the degree program, and How this program impacts their professional development.
Official Transcript – Submit official transcripts with both original and English translations of all university courses in which they have been enrolled.
Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
Proof of Financial Support – Students have to submit the proof to determine that they have sufficient financial resources to cover their expenses while in the USA.
Passport Copy – Provide a scanned copy of both sides that is legible and clearly shows their picture.
English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.
