Collaboration and creative problem solving are at the core of our production values.

The BFA pathway in design provides a solid foundation in theatre studies and applied design. In the area of costume design, students can explore costume design, costume construction, costume crafts, and historical costumes. Production assignments include costume crafts, wardrobe production, assistant costume designer. Senior students may undertake a design thesis to serve as a primary designer for a mainstage production.

The Costume Design + Technology Program include four faculty members, three stitchers, two cutter/drapers, and two costume managers. The costume shop features advanced millinery, dyeing, and leather-working facilities, while a makeup and wig studio produces prosthetics, ventilated wigs, and facial hair.
