ABET accredited Computer engineers design and build hardware and software for computer systems. They apply digital technologies to a broad range of engineering problems. The curriculum includes a strong electrical engineering component and extensive course work in the hardware and software aspects of computers and digital systems.

The knowledge gained from the Electrical Engineering concentration in the Electrical and Computer Engineering major of mathematics, engineering design, circuitry, physics, electronics, and computer programming provides a strong career foundation. Graduates may work as product engineers or testers, project managers, sales engineers, or consultants for manufacturers, businesses, and development projects in a wide variety of fields.
