  • Over that short time, students will attain deep analytical and empirical skills in microeconomics and econometrics essential, sought-after skills in the current market. We also provide dual-degree options, which can broaden opportunities. 
  • Students will learns:
    • Microeconomic theory, including individual decision-making and market equilibrium, game theory and market design
    • Empirical microeconomics, such as the use of econometric methods to understand markets, industries and other institutions
    • Experimental and behavioral economics, including laboratory methods and approaches from psychology to understand individual and interactive decision making
  • Students will be part of one of the premier institutions in the world in experimental economics, which includes theEconomic Science Laboratory founded by Nobel laureate Vernon Smith. Our department also has substantial expertise in industrial organization, labor economics, economic history and environmental economics, all of which are data-intensive.
