This 33-unit master?s program provides advanced training in art education, promotes professional growth through individual research, and increases your skills and knowledge in art production, art history, aesthetics and art criticism.
Required courses are taken in a specified sequence culminating in a written master?s project similar in scope to a traditional thesis. Faculty members work closely with you to prepare a final portfolio of your work.?
Premier Arts Venue
The renovated and expanded Center for the Arts creates an artistic village on the Towson campus where students work together and mingle across disciplines and art forms. As the premier arts venue in Baltimore County, it provides you access to the school?s graduate-level studio areas, including the Holtzman M.F.A. Gallery, designated solely for graduate students to exhibit their work throughout the year. The center also hosts a full schedule of art exhibitions, musical and theatre performances, festivals, and the Asian Arts and?Culture Center.
