The?Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art?emphasizes the development of the student as a working artist, equipped with the critical thinking, technical skills and creativity required by the major field of study. The art program at Nicholls is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. (NASAD).
Department of Art faculty are professional artists exhibiting their work nationally and internationally. Art history faculty members have been published in numerous books and articles and continue research both in the United States and abroad. The art faculty have also been awarded numerous grants.
