Students must meet the university wide standards for graduate admission requirements. All students must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited university and a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in upper-division and graduate work. Students with a strong background in the natural sciences, pharmacy, economics, mathematics, engineering, engineering technology or computer sciences may have the necessary core fundamental knowledge to complete the program of study leading to the Master of Science in environmental sciences.
The graduate studies committee comprised of graduate faculty and department administrators will be responsible for recommending acceptance into the program and for assigning advisors. Teaching assistantships, research assistantships, and tuition waivers are available; however students must make a separate request through application.
