The Bachelor of Science Journalism at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University courses concentrate on electronic news gathering, production techniques and writing and editing to prepare students for the fast-paced, automated world of multi-media. The curriculum is broad-based and includes on-air experience with FAMU-TV 20, including live news casts, magazine shows and documentaries. At WANM-FM, our campus radio station, students get hands-on experience with breaking news, field reporting, sports reporting and other radio programming. Students are encouraged to take advantage of many internship opportunities.
