Overview:

  • This MBA program can be completed in only 7 quarters, with classes meeting one night a week and on two Saturdays per quarter, may be different for fall or summer classes
  • The MBA degree at the Milgard School of Business is a comprehensive 64-credit graduate degree designed to provide experienced professionals and managers with new tools for responding to the challenges of change.

Curriculum:

  • The core curriculum addresses key areas of business knowledge via the core courses, which focus on finance, accounting, marketing, operations, ethics, human behavior, and business strategy
  • Beyond the core courses, students are required to complete 8-16 elective credits. The choice of electives will depend on the students' career and educational goals
  • The curriculum develops graduates who will:
    • Develop and articulate the organization's strategic direction
    • Manage people, information, and processes to accomplish organizational goals and objectives
    • Understand organizations as complex, interdependent systems operating in an ever-changing and uncertain environment
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the social, political, economic, ethical, and environmental context of the organization
    • Analyze and diagnose complex organizational problems, design effective solutions, and implement change
    • Students have flexible elective options to customize their course of study or they may choose a concentration in either Business Analytics or Healthcare
