This degree program will give graduates of our Histotechnology and Medical Laboratory Technology programs, as well as graduates of other Allied Health associate at Tarleton State University, earn a Bachelor's degree and apply credit from their Workforce Education (WECM) courses.

The Bachelor of Applied Technology has four course areas, which are designed to meet the requirements set forth by the State Legislature regarding bachelor’s degree programs; these still offer some flexibility in the student’s choice of elective courses. Most students entering the Health Professions Technology program will only need to complete the 45 upper-level credit hours from the required major courses and electives.
