As an art therapy graduate, you can provide opportunities for nonverbal expression and communication to people of all ages with varying degrees of functional or organic impairment, as well as working with the general population. Art therapy can promote a reconciliation of emotional conflicts and foster self-awareness and personal growth for clients.
Our graduates work in many different public or private settings, including psychiatric units in hospitals and clinics, mental health centers, geriatric centers, drug and alcohol clinics, nursing homes, prisons, and special needs schools.?
