What Will You Study?

To prepare you for management careers, you will take a common core of business courses. Your sport management-specific courses may include such courses as Sport Facility Planning and Management, Sport Marketing, International Sport Management, or Business Law for Sport Management, combined with field trips to sport venues. With the use of elective courses, Sport Management majors can pursue a dual major in?Marketing.?Courses can help you explore the worlds of sports analytics, scouting and player development, event management or golf operations, intercollegiate athletics management, or you can minor in athletic coaching. Our 3+3 Law program can prepare you to work in arbitration or negotiation.

Our graduates work in all aspects of sport from events planning to facilities operation, sporting goods to media sales or coaching at the collegiate level.
