• The UCSC Department of Computer Engineering sustains and strengthens its teaching and research program to provide students with inspiration and quality education in the theory and practice of computer engineering.
  • The department offers the bachelor of science (B.S.) in computer engineering, the bachelor of science in robotics engineering, the bachelor of arts (B.A.) in digital and network technology, the master of science (M.S.) and the doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in computer engineering degrees as well as an undergraduate minor.
  • A combined B.S./M.S. program allows students to complete both the B.S. and M.S. in computer engineering degrees in five years.
  • The department administers the interdisciplinary graduate designated emphasis in robotics and control that may be pursued along with a graduate degree in computer engineering or another field such as applied mathematics and statistics or electrical engineering.
