Learning Outcomes:

• Students will demonstrate excellence in ensemble conducting at an advanced level in order to work as professional educators and conductors.
• Students will demonstrate specific knowledge in ensemble literature, music theory, music history, and pedagogy to provide a depth of knowledge for a professional career as a conductor.
• Students will demonstrate skills in ensemble building, programming, and arts management to facilitate success as an artistic director.
• Students will demonstrate excellence as conductors for choral and/or instrumental ensembles at an advanced level.
• Students will demonstrate specific knowledge in ensemble literature and programming, music theory, music history, choral diction or instrumental techniques, and pedagogy to provide a depth of knowledge for a professional career as a conductor.
• Students will demonstrate skills in ensemble building, programming, and arts management to facilitate success as an artistic director.
