Our Athletic Training Program (ATP) is?accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education. You'll prepare for careers in sports medicine as certified athletic trainers or to continue on to other medical fields. Students learn to integrate their Christian faith and biblical principles with the disciplines of athletic training to develop a heart of service that takes a holistic approach to care. You?ll also learn the important skills of empathetic care, critical judgment, interpersonal and group communication, and cooperation with other healthcare professionals or school staff so you?re prepared for a successful career.

Students first experience a season with one of Bethel?s 16 sports teams, working alongside the staff athletic trainer. In addition, students connect with one of our many contacts in the metro area to gain hands-on experience in prevention and rehab settings. Our network can connect students with a site that matches their desired career goals--working with a sports team, in a clinic, or with a school.
